 We partner with VCs to acquire distressed, wind-down, or non-performing startups—turning written-off positions into DPI-positive exits. We assess core technology, teams, and asset strength to extract value quickly (1–2 year horizons), enhancing IRR and freeing VCs from long-tail exposure.

Case-in-point: Acquisition of a cybersecurity hardware startup with strong IP but limited commercial traction.

 We collaborate with other PE firms to acquire underperforming or non-core portfolio assets. Our sweet spot includes tech-enabled businesses and alternate assets no longer aligned with the fund’s strategy but holding latent value. We bring execution capability, turnaround expertise, and flexible capital to reposition these businesses.

We engage directly with startups and mature businesses to unlock value through capital and operational support. For startups, we provide equity from Seed to Series A, ranging from $100K–$1M to help with scaling, pivoting, or validating markets, as well as asset-based venture debt to preserve ownership and extend growth runway. For mature companies, we invest in transitional or undervalued businesses across life sciences, cloud, cybersecurity, and telecom—focusing on underleveraged commercial assets.

We work with insurance providers to access high-quality deal flow by vetting companies with tangible assets and downside protection, and to de-risk investments through underwriting that can mitigate the risk of startup failure or support liquidity in distressed scenarios. We offer structures that integrate insurance into the capital stack, enhancing both security and scalability for stakeholders.
